G. C. Santisteban (1866–1919) revised the method as Carcassi Method for the Guitar / Método para la guitarra, published by Oliver Ditson in 1906. He aimed to modernize its teaching, adding and removing material, changing fingerings and reordering exercises based on his experience as a teacher and guitarist. Edition preface.
The tablature was made by algorithms. Although we review it manually, you may find some errors. It respects the edition’s barre marks (“½C 2”: half barre at the 2nd fret; “C 4”: full barre at the 4th fret).
