Studies from Fernando Sor’s (1778–1839) Op. 6 and Op. 35, with sheet music and tab to download.
The twelve studies of Fernando Sor’s Op. 6 and the twenty-four of his Op. 35, in the order of the edition. Each piece
keeps the number it has in its opus, and they are not all here: the ones that could be checked are published.
The notes come from the LilyPond editions of the
Mutopia Project
(Glen Larsen, Creative Commons BY-SA license; Op. 35 No. 14 is by Jakob Bagterp, in the public domain). Each one is
compared with Mutopia’s own MIDI and score before it appears here; the PDF is generated again, with the tab calculated by
the engine of the site’s “Sheet Music with Tablature” tool. Being BY-SA, the PDFs and MusicXML files on this page are
shared under the same license.
The tab fingering is a suggestion: most notes can be played in more than one place on the fretboard. The numbers above
the notes are the left-hand fingers from the source edition, and the tab respects them. Op. 6 No. 7 and No. 9 call for the
sixth string tuned down to D (the tab shows it). Each PDF carries a credit to the source edition at the bottom.
